As times goes by, technologies must go through some changes, mostly of the times upgrading something old that needs to be re-made or changed a bit so everyone can enjoy it better (other times because some people get tired of having all the same and have that urge feeling of change everything). Hotmail is not the exception to the rule, and that’s why developers had released Windows Live Essentials 2011.
This time the changes weren’t as good as Windows planned, because not all the people they wanted changed to this new service letting the old Live Messenger behind: it was a really big shock for them. The main reason (or the main one we think it could be) is because Windows changed way too many stuffs into the graphic design and the outcome was a total overload of graphics stuffs and it was way too heavy. This caused many users to go back to hotmail’s old version, and totally rejecting this new one as useful.
But not the entire new version is bad, since it has something new that is very trendy nowadays, and it’s the fact that it can connect to the new social sites such as Facebook and Twitter. If you feel like trying out yourself this new tool, there’s a link to the site so you can download it for free (remember that you need to have a computer with Windows Vista SP2 or Windows 7, so old users of XP won’t be able to try it out).
